Instead of figuring out how to go through the bureaucratic court system, we walk you through it. You answer simple questions online. We deal with the mundane government forms. As part of the fixed fee, you will also have access to a knowledgeable legal assistant to help you throughout the process. We help you organize your evidence in a judge friendly manner. Avoid being stressed on your hearing date. We help you prepare for your hearing before a judge. We will give you a framework to best present your arguments.
Episode 77 is a combination episode delving into the access to justice topic (as promised in the year end finale of 2019) with a legaltech startup helping to serve those struggling to file small claims lawsuits.
Courtam Legal is co-founded by Cami Lopez and Gustavo Lozano. Cami is a lawyer and Gustavo is the engineer. Together, they started visiting small claims courts to see the process and procedures being used. The difficulties of legal services consumers were facing, led them to analyze and develop what is now Courtam Legal.
Legal assistance and support is how we’re seeing access to justice spread at present. Keep it up folks!
